Google has updated the schedule for its introduction of Privacy Sandbox browser technology and the phasing out of third-party cookies, but the dates are not set in stone.
The Privacy Sandbox will lay new foundations for a safer, more sustainable, and more private web.
The goals of the Privacy Sandbox are to:
- prevent tracking during web-browsing
- develop privacy-centric alternatives for key online business needs
- preserve the vitality of an open web.
